Alexi Galica-Cohen, CPA, is a Tax Supervisor at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. She graduated summa cum laude with Master of Science in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire with a focus in tax. She also holds a second Master of Science in Library and Information Science, lending itself to exceptional research skills.

Before joining the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts’ team, Alexi began her career at a Big Four accounting firm in their asset and wealth management tax group, specializing in large multi-tiered partnerships, LLCs, and multinational corporations. From there, she joined a local practice, serving a wide range of small to mid-sized closely held businesses and high net worth individuals in southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Now returned to her native New Hampshire, Alexi brings her robust skill set to the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts Dover office. At the firm, she prepares and reviews complex business and individual tax returns, conducts tax research, and assists with tax planning. She has also taken a lead role in the firm’s work on the Employee Retention Credit program, helping numerous local businesses. In addition, she is a valued member of the team for developing new tax staff.

Jill first joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team in 1995 — and has been with us off and on while raising her family ever since. A skilled and experienced CPA, Jill has specialized in audits and taxes throughout her lengthy tenure with Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. She thrives in our bustling professional environment, where she enjoys getting to know the specific needs of our clients and adapts easily to the constantly changing nature of the work.

Raised in Lebanon, Maine, Jill currently resides in Milton, New Hampshire where she volunteers her time and services throughout the community. She currently serves on on the leadership team of Be The Village, NH. When not in the office or helping others in the community, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband Mark and their two children.

Molly, a Senior Accountant, first joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts in 2017 as an intern. She likes to joke that we’ve been “stuck” with her since then — we like to say it was our good fortune we managed to convince her to join us full-time in 2019.

Molly graduated from UNH with a degree in Business Administration and with a focus in Accounting. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Accounting at UNH. As Certified Public Accountant, Molly works with clients in Stratham and Dover on tax preparations and audits. She comes at accounting like a puzzle — and she’s excellent at putting the pieces together for our taxpayers.

When not in the office, Molly enjoys the outdoors with her horses, visiting Nashville, and going on adventures to find cute coffee shops around the seacoast and beyond.

Daniel works at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts as a Senior Accountant. A University of New Hampshire graduate, Dan earned his degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He also holds a minor in Forensic Accounting. Dan passed the rigorous CPA exam in 2022 and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Before joining the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team, Daniel gained valuable experience as a tax intern and a medical underwriting intern. He came on board with us in 2020, spending most of his time working preliminarily on nonprofit audits. In the future, we expect he’ll also assist with nonprofit compilations and reviews as well as individual and business tax returns. No matter what he’s spending his time on in the office, he’s doing it with a focus on service excellence and client satisfaction. Daniel continuously strives to learn new things about the accounting field or find new ways to improve current practices and standards.

When not helping clients, Daniel spends his free time outdoors. A lifelong resident of Alton, New Hampshire, Daniel loves spending time with friends and family on Lake Winnipesaukee. He also enjoys giving back to the community, participating in Alzheimer’s Association walks and local events whenever possible.

Megan is Senior Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. As a child, Megan wanted to be a veterinarian. However, once she learned the job required more than cuddling cats and dogs, she decided she needed a Plan B! So, she focused on accounting and business instead, earning an Associate of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business at Husson University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She also earned her MBA from Husson University in 2019. Megan is a Certified Public Accountant, passing the rigorous CPA exam in 2022.

Before joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Megan worked as a bookkeeper and tax preparer for four and a half years at Debit One Bookkeeping. As a Senior Accountant in our North Conway location, Megan works with clients who have a wide range of tax and accounting needs, including audits, reviews, and compilations. She loves the diversity of her role and enjoys helping people in various financial situations.

Megan holds an American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB) membership and serves on the Scholarship Selection Committee for the Kennett High School Alumni Association and as a Board Member for the North Conway Cemetery Association. She is also a Certified Bookkeeper and QuickBooks Online Certified. When she’s not working with clients, Megan spends her time with husband Ryan and their two dogs and two cats.

Kandie Bonica joins the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team as a Senior Accountant. Born in Keene, NH, Kandie, a military spouse who has lived in eight cities and 11 different houses – has settled with her family in Durham, New Hampshire. Still, those adventures have instilled a permanent wanderlust in Kandie, with traveling the world at the top of her bucket list.

Kandie received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While she has enjoyed lots of moves in her personal life, professionally, she has cultivated an accounting career that spans over two decades! Before joining the team, Kandie worked at a CPA firm out of Texas for over 22 years doing mainly tax work, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparations.

At LMR, Kandie focuses primarily on tax work for individuals and businesses. Every day she gets to do what she loves most about her job — help people. When she’s not in the office, Kandie loves being near the water with her husband, Mark, and their three daughters.

Ryan Crowley serves as a Senior Accountant at Leone, McDonnell and Roberts, bringing a distinctive blend of experience and expertise to the firm.

Originally from Peabody, MA, Ryan currently lives in Londonderry, NH. Ryan earned his degree in Accounting and Business from Saint Anselm College in 2020. During his time at school, Ryan landed internships with four different firms and organizations. His persistence as an undergrad paid off — he got his first job in the accounting world right after graduation.

In his role as Senior Accountant at LMRPA, Ryan specializes in tax returns for both individuals and businesses. He enjoys handling the intricate financial workings of his clients, providing valuable insights, and putting the finishing touches on their year-end financials.

When he’s not navigating spreadsheets, Ryan spends his summers and falls working at Mack’s Apples, a local farm stand in Londonderry, NH, where he serves ice cream. He also spends his time away from the office around Lake Winnipesaukee, and has put traveling to new states and countries at the very top of his bucket list

Sydney Carlisle recently joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team as a Staff Accountant working out of the North Conway, New Hampshire office. A 2021 honors and magna cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Sydney received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with options in Accounting & Entrepreneurship. During her sophomore year at UNH, she participated in the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, helping file tax returns for low-income individuals.

Before starting at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Sydney worked as an administrative intern at William & Henry Wide Plank Floors. In January 2021, she joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts for busy season, helping with individual tax returns. Starting full-time in July 2021, Sydney continues to learn and grow, working on audits and tax preparation and extensions.

Sydney’s favorite thing about accounting is the dynamic environment that promotes continuous learning. She also loves working with clients on various engagements and collaborating with other team members at the firm. In addition to helping out with client needs, she still finds the time to study for the rigorous CPA exam which is her next professional goal.

Sydney resides in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. When not at work, she can often be found at the beach in Truro, MA or skiing, walking and hiking throughout New England. She also enjoys spending time with friends, family, and loved ones.

At Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, we are huge advocates of hiring interns from our local New Hampshire colleges. It’s a great way to support students as they grow into their careers and helps us connect with the best and brightest in the area. Case in point: Hannah Cloutier, is a true success story of our intern program here at the firm!

Hannah was born and raised in Stratham, NH. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2022 with a BS in Accounting and Finance. While at UNH, she also earned the distinction of making the dean’s list every semester. Hanna was attracted to accounting by the job’s fast-pace, constantly moving parts, and the chance to work with numbers. She enjoys helping on various projects and learning under our experienced team of accountants. Hannah earned her CPA license, passing all four sections of the rigorous CPA examination in early 2024.

Prior to joining LMRPA, Hannah has mainly been involved with customer service roles, working as a server at a local golf course and at the customer service desk at a supermarket. When not at work, Hannah enjoys sharpening her self-taught juggling skills and spending time with her family and two dogs. She also has hiking all of the 4,000-footers in NH at the top of her bucket list.

Griffin is another Leone, McDonnell & Roberts intern success story. He joined the firm in 2022 as Staff Accountant in our North Conway office. He started with the firm right after graduating from Endicott College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. In his current role at the firm, Griffin works with many local companies and nonprofits in the area. He loves using his degree to help make an impact with our clients.

Before becoming a member of the LMR team, Griffin worked at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort for two years and interned at a payroll / HR company. When not at the office, he loves spending time with family and friends in his happy place – his own backyard. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, and traveling, and has a trip back to Europe at the top of his bucket list.

Zane Angelopoulos, a lifelong New Hampshire native, joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team as a staff accountant in 2022. Zane earned his both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from New England College (NEC). He excelled at NEC, earning the NEC Male Scholar Athlete Award, NEC Management Division Award, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA

Before joining our firm, Zane was a tax intern at a Manchester firm. In his current role as an LMR Staff Accountant, Zane focuses on tax and audit work. He enjoys working with a wide range of clients at the firm, putting his education and background to work for them as they navigate the tax and audit process.

When not helping clients at LMR, Zane enjoys spending time with his large Greek family in the Rollinsford, Dover, and Somersworth area. In his downtime, he enjoys golf, skiing, fishing, tennis, working out, and hockey—when he was a kid, he had dreams of playing in the NHL! His top three bucket list items include skiing deep powder in Japan or the Jackson Hole backcountry and visiting Greece.

Kerri Hanson joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team in 2022 as a Staff Accountant. She graduated from Saint Anselm College (BA) in 2020 and Merrimack College (MSA- concentration in Taxation and Forensics) in 2022. While many people come to the accounting field in college, Kerri has known what she wanted to do when she grew up since she was a kid. In the 6th grade, her class took a field trip to Exchange City, where she spent the day as an accountant and knew working in accounting was her dream. So, essentially, working at LMPRA isn’t just a job for Kerri — it’s a dream come true!

In her role as Staff Accountant, Kerri gets to do what she loves — problem-solving for clients and serving in a field known for integrity and ethics. She approaches client projects like a real-time puzzle where she finds creative ways for clients to resolve their problems and achieve the best results for their needs.

Before joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Kerri worked as a Senior Accountant at a local bank in NH for two years. In her downtime, she volunteers at For Goodness Cakes, an organization that matches volunteers to make and hand-deliver birthday and graduation cakes to children in foster care and youth overcoming adversity on their special day. Kerri loves to travel in her free time, visiting 22 countries total in her life, and eight European countries this past summer alone. In the future, she hopes to see all seven world wonders and skydive in a different country.
