Experienced Accountant
The ideal candidate will be responsible for federal and state tax return preparation (corporate, individual, partnerships and trusts), and perform audit, review and compilation engagements. As a team member, you will become active in client engagement and development. As a member of our professional staff, you will be required to read and be familiar with pronouncements from the AICPA and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting
- CPA or CPA candidate
- 2-4+ years of related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in team setting on complex assignments and projects
- Knowledge, proficiency and aptitude for applicable software and firm technology (ProSystem FX or other tax software), including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office applications.

Audit Staff Accountant
An Audit Staff Accountant will assist in all phases of audit, review and compilation engagements in adherence with professional and firm standards, including the preparation of audited, reviewed or compiled financial statements. Ideal candidate will also prepare working papers. Our Firm requires that all our staff stay up-to-date on Firm policies, procedures, and the AICPA and state CPA society’s rules, regulations and Code of Conduct. Staff is to regularly read and be familiar with pronouncements from the AICPA and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Staff is encouraged to sit for and pass the CPA examination, if eligible.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting preferred
- 2-5 years of public accounting experience ideal
- CPA license preferred, but not required
- Audit experience with nonprofits, affordable housing/HUD projects, federal low-income housing tax credit programs, a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting on complex assignments and projects

Front Desk / Office Assistant - North Conway
We are seeking an experienced, friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented front office person to join our North Conway administrative team. The position is part to full-time and in-person.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones; greeting clients and vendors; collating tax returns and financial statements; file maintenance; incoming and outgoing mail; printing; copying; scanning; maintaining document logs; and performing other administrative work as needed.
Candidate must be team-oriented, have a willingness to work hard, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail. Successful candidate will be able to prioritize multiple projects and will thrive in a collaborate work environment.
Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary, and working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is helpful. Our firm also uses various CCH inter-related software programs which candidate will become familiar with.
Prior office experience preferred.
