Our People

Molly, a Supervisor at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, first joined the firm as an intern in 2017. She likes to joke that we’ve been “stuck” with her ever since – but we know better. We consider ourselves lucky that she came on board full-time in 2019.

Molly earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire, where she also completed her Master of Science in Accounting. As a Certified Public Accountant based in our Dover office, she specializes in nonprofit, HUD, and affordable housing audits, along with tax preparation work. She approaches accounting like a puzzle – and she’s exceptional at putting the pieces together for our clients.

Outside the office, Molly enjoys spending time outdoors with her horses, traveling, and discovering charming coffee shops throughout the Seacoast and beyond.

Daniel works at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts as a Supervisor. A University of New Hampshire graduate, Dan earned his degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. He also holds a minor in Forensic Accounting. Dan passed the rigorous CPA exam in 2022 and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Before joining the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team full-time in 2020, Daniel gained valuable experience as a tax intern and a medical underwriting intern. His work consists of nonprofit audits, compilations and reviews as well as individual and business tax returns. No matter what he’s spending his time on in the office, he’s doing it with a focus on service excellence and client satisfaction. Daniel continuously strives to learn new things about the accounting field or find new ways to improve current practices and standards.

When not helping clients, Daniel spends his free time outdoors. A lifelong New Hampshire resident, Daniel loves spending time with friends and family on Lake Winnipesaukee. He also enjoys giving back to the community, participating in Alzheimer’s Association walks and local events whenever possible.

Megan is a Supervisor at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, based in our North Conway office. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian – until she realized it involved more than cuddling cats and dogs! Thankfully, Plan B turned out to be a perfect fit: a career in accounting and business.

Megan earned both her Associate of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business from Husson University, graduating summa cum laude. She went on to complete her MBA at Husson in 2019 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 2022 after successfully passing the rigorous CPA exam.

Before joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Megan spent over four years at at a bookkeeping firm, where she worked as a bookkeeper and tax preparer. Today, she supports a diverse range of clients with tax, audit, review, and compilation services. She enjoys the variety in her work and is passionate about helping people navigate their financial situations with confidence and clarity.

Megan is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB), a Certified Bookkeeper, and QuickBooks Online Certified. She also gives back to her community by serving on the Scholarship Selection Committee for the Kennett High School Alumni Association and as a Board Member for the North Conway Cemetery Association.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys life in the Mount Washington Valley with her husband, Ryan, and their two dogs and two cats.

Kandie Bonica joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts in 2023 after a successful 22-year career with a Texas-based CPA firm. Today, she serves as a Supervisor, helping individuals and businesses navigate their tax and accounting needs with confidence.

Samantha Henrichon is an LMR Supervisor who has built her career on a steady foundation of hard work and a deep commitment to her clients.

Before joining the firm, Samantha spent nine years in the accounting industry, working her way up from intern to full-time auditor. Today, her expertise spans audit, nonprofit work, reviews, compilations, and 990s. She’s also a member of the New England Society of CPAs and serves as Treasurer for the NH Book and Literary Festival. What keeps Samantha energized about her work is the relationships she builds. She genuinely loves getting to know her clients and being a consistent resource for them.

Outside the office, you’ll find her deep in a historical fiction novel. As a kid, she dreamed of becoming a book editor, which in some ways is not so different from accounting — both are about understanding the full picture.

Ryan Crowley serves as a Senior Accountant at Leone, McDonnell and Roberts, bringing a distinctive blend of experience and expertise to the firm.

Originally from Peabody, MA, Ryan currently lives in Londonderry, NH. Ryan earned his degree in Accounting and Business from Saint Anselm College in 2020. During his time at school, Ryan landed internships with four different firms and organizations. His persistence as an undergrad paid off — he got his first job in the accounting world right after graduation.

In his role as Senior Accountant at LMR, Ryan specializes in tax returns for both individuals and businesses. He enjoys handling the intricate financial workings of his clients, providing valuable insights, and putting the finishing touches on their year-end financials.

When he’s not navigating spreadsheets, Ryan spends his summers and falls working at Mack’s Apples, a local farm stand in Londonderry, NH, where he serves ice cream. He also spends his time away from the office around Lake Winnipesaukee, and has put traveling to new states and countries at the very top of his bucket list

Sydney Carlisle joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team in 2021, and is a Senior Accountant working out of the North Conway, New Hampshire office. A 2021 honors and magna cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Sydney received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with options in Accounting & Entrepreneurship. During her sophomore year at UNH, she participated in the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, helping file tax returns for low-income individuals.

Before starting at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Sydney worked as an administrative intern at William & Henry Wide Plank Floors. In January 2021, she joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts for busy season, helping with individual tax returns. Starting full-time in July 2021, Sydney continues to learn and grow, working on audits and tax preparation and extensions.

Sydney’s favorite thing about accounting is the dynamic environment that promotes continuous learning. She also loves working with clients on various engagements and collaborating with other team members at the firm. In addition to helping out with client needs, she still finds the time to study for the rigorous CPA exam which is her next professional goal.

Sydney resides in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. When not at work, she can often be found at the beach in Truro, MA or skiing, walking and hiking throughout New England. She also enjoys spending time with friends, family, and loved ones.

Matthew Creamer, CPA is a Senior Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. He earned a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire in May of 2022, making him an excellent fit for the Senior Accountant role. He loves being out in the field, getting to know and helping our clients across multiple industries. Matthew views his role like a giant puzzle—he enjoys sifting through and connecting all the pieces of the engagement as it progresses.

Matthew was born and raised in Stratham. Before joining our firm, he gained valuable accounting experience from internships and full-time work at a large accounting firm, specializing in assurance and audit services for nonprofits and employee benefit plans.

When not helping clients solve problems, Matthew spends time at home in Dover, with his family or in his happy place—the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. His secret talent is playing the guitar, and he dreams of someday snowboarding in Europe, in countries like Sweden and Finland.

Zane Angelopoulos, CPA is a lifelong New Hampshire native, and he joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team in 2022. Zane earned his both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from New England College (NEC). He excelled at NEC, earning the NEC Male Scholar Athlete Award, NEC Management Division Award, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

Before joining our firm, Zane was a tax intern at a Manchester firm. In his current role as an LMR Senior Accountant, Zane focuses on tax and audit work, and he enjoys working with a wide range of clients at the firm, putting his education and background to work for them as they navigate the tax and audit process.

When not helping clients at LMR, Zane enjoys spending time with his large Greek family in the Rollinsford, Dover, and Somersworth area. In his downtime, he enjoys golf, skiing, fishing, tennis, working out, and hockey—when he was a kid, he had dreams of playing in the NHL! His top three bucket list items include skiing deep powder in Japan or the Jackson Hole backcountry and visiting Greece.

Case in point: Hannah Cloutier, is a true success story of our intern program here at the firm!

Hannah was born and raised in Stratham, NH. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2022 with a BS in Accounting and Finance. While at UNH, she also earned the distinction of making the dean’s list every semester. Hanna was attracted to accounting by the job’s fast-pace, constantly moving parts, and the chance to work with numbers. She enjoys helping on various projects and learning under our experienced team of accountants. A Senior Accountant at the firm, Hannah earned her CPA license, passing all four sections of the rigorous CPA examination in early 2024.

Prior to joining LMR, Hannah has mainly been involved with customer service roles, working as a server at a local golf course and at the customer service desk at a supermarket. When not at work, Hannah enjoys sharpening her self-taught juggling skills and spending time with her family and two dogs. She also has hiking all of the 4,000-footers in NH at the top of her bucket list.

Kerri Hanson joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts in 2022 and serves as a Senior Accountant. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Saint Anselm College in 2020, followed by a Master of Science in Accounting with concentrations in Taxation and Forensics from Merrimack College in 2022.

While many discover their passion for accounting in college, Kerri knew much earlier. In sixth grade, during a class field trip to Exchange City, she spent the day as an “accountant” – and something clicked. From that point on, accounting wasn’t just a career option; it was the dream. Today, she’s living that dream at LMR.

In her role, Kerri enjoys solving complex client challenges, approaching each project as a real-time puzzle. Her work is rooted in a strong commitment to integrity and ethics – qualities that drew her to the field in the first place. She takes pride in finding thoughtful, creative solutions that deliver meaningful results for clients.

Before joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Kerri worked as a Senior Accountant at a local bank in NH for two years. In her downtime, she volunteers at For Goodness Cakes, an organization that matches volunteers to make and hand-deliver birthday and graduation cakes to children in foster care and youth overcoming adversity on their special day. Kerri loves to travel in her free time, visiting 22 countries total in her life, and eight European countries this past summer alone. In the future, she hopes to see all seven world wonders and skydive in a different country.

Katie Conti, CPA is a Senior Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. With a strong academic background and a passion for problem solving, she brings a unique blend of skills and experience to our team of financial professionals.

A native of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, Katie attended the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with options in both accounting and information systems and business analytics. Katie holds AICPA and NECPA memberships, loves trying new things, and thrives on challenges — all traits that make her an excellent member of the LMR team where she focuses on tax and audit services.

Prior to joining the team, Katie honed her people skills working as an office manager, in several restaurants, and as an intern at our firm!

Margarita Gaponov joined the LMR team in 2023 as a Staff Accountant. Margarita was born and raised in New Hampshire, but she is very connected to her Slavic heritage. Her grandparents are originally from Kiev, Ukraine and Margarita grew up learning their language, culture, and traditions.

Margarita graduated from New England College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as her Master of Science in Accounting. In her role at LMR, Margarita focuses primarily on preparing taxes and audit work. She is a member of both the AICPA and NECPAs and comes to work every day excited to crunch numbers and help clients optimize every tax benefit they are entitled to receive!

At Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, we appreciate Margarita’s commendable math skills, but it’s important to note that Margarita also loves music! While in college, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in music and performed at Carnegie Hall in a piano competition where she won 2nd place.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Margarita spends her time volunteering at the Slavic Baptist Church in Londonderry or spending time with her family and her two cats, Elsa and Lerka.

Shannon is a Staff Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, bringing extensive experience in auditing, forensic accounting, and private investigation. Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Plymouth State University, where she was recognized with the Criminal Justice Book Scholarship award. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in forensic accounting at Southern New Hampshire University.

Shannon prepares financial statements and single audits in her current role at the firm. She especially enjoys getting to know each client’s unique operations and learning about new industries with every engagement. Her prior experience in investigation allows her to bring a critical eye and attention to detail when auditing.

Outside of work, Shannon is actively involved with her alma mater, Plymouth State, serving as vice president of the class of 2018 and formerly holding leadership roles in the Kappa Delta Phi NAS sorority. She is also deeply passionate about supporting the American Diabetes Association in honor of her cousin Emily, who passed away from the disease in 2020.

Shannon enjoys an active lifestyle in her free time, including skiing, mountain biking, riding jet skis, playing soccer and softball, and traveling. Her happy place is spending time with her family, boyfriend Matt, and their three dogs, Tuukka, Jake, and Diesel, at their camp on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Elisa Careggio is a Staff Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts’ North Conway office. Raised in Torino, Italy, Elisa now resides in North Conway, New Hampshire, with her parents and her beloved dog, Luna. She recently graduated from Granite State College (GSC) with a degree in Accounting.

Elisa has always had a love for mathematics, starting in childhood when she dreamed of becoming a math teacher. Before joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Elisa gained valuable experience managing a coffee shop, where she handled payroll, inventory management, and ordering supplies. Her diverse background has equipped her with a strong foundation in various operational aspects of business management.

At Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Elisa is passionate about helping clients with their taxes and overall business profitability. She appreciates the welcoming atmosphere at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts and values the support and mentorship from her colleagues. A member of the AICPA and NECPAs, Elisa is eager to explore all areas of accounting to find her niche within the field.

Nicholas “Nick” Patti has joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts as a Staff Accountant, bringing his unique blend of entrepreneurial experience and academic excellence to the firm.

A lifelong New Hampshire resident, Nick graduated with an accounting degree from the University of New Hampshire in May 2024. Before joining LMR, Nick demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by successfully running a six-figure startup through Student Painters while still in school.

At LMR, Nick focuses on gaining hands-on experience in the audit and tax fields. He particularly enjoys working with diverse clients and learning about different business practices and approaches. Nick appreciates the collaborative and friendly culture at LMR and values the strong relationships among team members.

Nick has consistently achieved academic excellence throughout his college career, earning recognition on the Dean’s List every semester. When not at work or studying, Nick’s happy place is relaxing on a warm, tropical beach.

Colby Combs is a Staff Accountant in LMR’s Dover office, where he focuses primarily on tax preparation for individuals, businesses, and nonprofits. His work includes preparing 1040s, 1120s, 990s, and 1065s, giving him exposure to a wide range of client needs. What Colby enjoys most about accounting is the variety. He values the challenge of a field that is both broad and complex, one that pushes him to keep learning and improving.

Colby earned both his bachelor’s degree (2023) and MBA (2024) from Thomas College, achieving high honors every semester. A tax internship during his junior year confirmed his interest in the profession, leading him to pursue public accounting as a career after graduation.

Originally from Waldoboro, Maine, Colby now resides in Dover, NH. He is a member of both the AICPA and NECPAs and is working toward his CPA license – a milestone he plans to celebrate with his first international trip, likely to Italy or Japan. When he’s not at the office, Colby enjoys watching soccer and football, staying active at the gym, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and picking up hobbies like reading and golf.

Marcos Marenco brings a strong public and governmental accounting foundation to his role as an Audit Staff Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. A graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Economics, Marcos is currently furthering his education by pursuing an MBA at Trine University.

Before joining LMRPA, Marcos spent nearly two years in public accounting, working extensively in governmental accounting and developing expertise in financial statement compilation, reviews, and audits. He enjoys the challenge of problem-solving and discovering new approaches to complex financial issues. His favorite part of working at LMRPA is the supportive and collaborative environment.

Originally from Monteverde, Costa Rica, Marcos now resides in Somersworth, NH. His passion for leadership and service was evident during his college years, where he served as President of Sigma Tau Gamma and led fundraising efforts for the Special Olympics.

Outside of work, Marcos loves nature and visiting his happy place: a mountain peak in Monteverde, where he can take in the beautiful scenery. At the top of his bucket list is a trip to experience the Northern Lights.

Jalyn Pearl is a Staff Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, where she supports both audit and tax engagements across a wide range of industries.

Jalyn graduated summa cum laude from Bentley University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) at Bentley. Before joining LMR, she spent two years as a business intern in the public utilities sector, gaining valuable hands-on experience in financial operations.

She enjoys the dynamic nature of the accounting profession, especially the opportunity to connect with a variety of clients and gain insight into how different businesses operate. One of her favorite things about LMR is working with our welcoming and helpful team of professionals.

Jalyn currently lives in Haverhill, MA with her family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, swimming, and snowmobiling. Her top bucket list item? Visiting every island in the Caribbean.

Janie Donahue is a Staff Accountant in the firm’s Dover office. A lifelong resident of Fremont, NH, she graduated from Merrimack College in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Accounting.

During her time at Merrimack, Janie earned President’s List honors every semester for maintaining a GPA of 3.75 or higher. She also gained valuable experience through a semester-long Co-Op at a local accounting firm, where she focused primarily on audit work. That opportunity gave her firsthand insight into the profession and confirmed her interest in pursuing a career in public accounting.

At Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Janie continues to build her expertise on the audit side while working toward her CPA designation. She enjoys the accounting field for its variety and opportunities to learn and grow, as well as the fast-paced, detail-oriented nature of the work.

Outside of the office, Janie values time at the beach in Saco, Maine. She also enjoys cooking and baking, which she sees as both relaxing and a way to be creative. Janie’s childhood dream jobs ranged from waitress to race car driver. While she crossed waitressing off the list in college, she still hopes to experience the thrill of driving on a track one day.
