LMR Announces Promotions of Christine Chrysafidis and Kandie Bonica
We are pleased to announce the well-deserved promotions of Christine Chrysafidis to Manager and Kandie Bonica to Supervisor. These promotions reflect each individual’s professional growth, leadership, and ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients and supporting colleagues across the firm.
Christine Chrysafidis joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts full time in 2018 after beginning her career with the firm as an intern in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in accounting, from the University of New Hampshire and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2020.
Christine has developed experience across audit, tax, and advisory services and is known for her strong client relationships and commitment to professional growth. A member of the New England Society of Certified Public Accountants, Christine was promoted to Manager in July 2026 and is actively involved in the firm’s recruiting efforts and mentor program. She also serves as Treasurer and a member of the Finance Committee for My Breast Cancer Support. Christine was recognized by the Society with the 2025 Marlene Gazda Hamel Dedicated Employee Award and was also named to the 2026 Forbes Best-In-State CPA list.
Outside the office, Christine enjoys going to the beach, boating, and spending time with her family.
Kandie Bonica joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts in 2023 after a successful 22-year career with a Texas-based CPA firm. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Kandie is a member of the New England Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Kandie has extensive experience in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial statement work, with a primary focus on serving individuals and businesses. She is known for her collaborative approach and commitment to client service.
Outside the office, Kandie enjoys traveling, spending time near the water, and being with her husband, three daughters and extended family.
