LMR Welcomes Tom & Kimberly

Leone, McDonnell & Roberts is pleased to welcome Thomas Smail and Kimberly Thistlewood, CPA.

Thomas “Tom” Smail launched his professional journey in the healthcare, capital markets, and green energy sectors where he gained valuable experience before finding his home in public accounting. A staff accountant in the Dover office, Tom applies his extensive knowledge and experience to a variety of audit engagements. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Health Policy from the University of Richmond, a Master’s in Public Health from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and a Master’s in Accounting from the College of William and Mary. Residing in Portsmouth with his wife, Tom enjoys running, golfing, and scuba diving.

A Certified Public Accountant in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Kimberly Thistlewood joins the firm as a Supervisor in the North Conway office. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Merrimack College earning both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. After gaining eight years of valuable experience in both public accounting and the private sector, Kimberly will focus on tax planning and preparation at the firm. She lives in Center Conway with her husband and their dogs, and enjoys hiking, skiing, and paddleboarding.
