CPAs Brie Pettengill & Abby Lamothe Receive Awards

We are so pleased to recognize two team members who have received notable recognitions.

Brie Pettengill, a Principal at the firm, was recently presented the President’s Award by Granite State Managers Association (GSMA). GSMA is a professional organization of property owners, managers, and others involved in the property management industry. Presented to Brie at the GSMA Annual Conference held in November at Church Landing in Meredith, New Hampshire, this award is given to a Board member who goes above and beyond and has a strong commitment to the organization. Brie started at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts in 2011, and oversees many of the nonprofit, HUD, and low-income housing audits at the firm. She has served on the GSMA Board of Directors since August 2022 and as Treasurer since January 2023.

The Daughters of the American Revolution – Margery Sullivan Chapter recently presented Supervisor Abby Lamothe with the 2024 Excellence in Community Service Award. This national recognition is presented to a local individual for their outstanding voluntary services in their communities. Abby was honored for her lengthy list of community service involvement at organizations including Pope Memorial Humane Society, Seacoast Eat Local, the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce, the Rutman Leadership Fellows Program of UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, and the American Heart Association. She was also recognized for using her crafting abilities to help the less fortunate and homeless through “Seacoast Sweet Stitches” and their Warming Projects. Her efforts have inspired others to join her in providing hats, mittens, blankets, and socks for Waypoint, MyTurn, My Friends Place, Home For Now, The Warming Center, and unsheltered individuals in our community. A Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team member since 2018, Abby works closely with nonprofits, specializing in Uniform Guidance audits.
