Christopher J. McKay
Christopher joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association in 2009 and was admitted to the firm’s partner group in July 2020. Chris focuses in accounting and tax preparation services for closely held businesses and individuals with an emphasis on multi-state tax issues. Chris also specializes in information technology and is heavily involved in the firm’s nonprofit practice.
Chris found career inspiration when he realized the accounting field was the most technically challenging and engaging course work at business school. Today he attributes his success to his technical and problem-solving skills, his family, and the mentors at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, P.A., that he worked with throughout his career.
Chris grew up in Exeter, NH and graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Chris is currently a member of the AICPA and NHSCPA.
Chris’s ambitions do not slow outside the office as he enthusiastically participates in numerous outdoor activities, some of them being quite adventurous; mountain biking, back country skiing, running, hiking, water skiing, and golfing. Chris, a licensed private pilot, is a member of the Skyhaven Flying Club and enjoys spending time in the air well. He is happily married and resides in Wakefield, NH with his wife and children.

Christine Chrysafidis
Christine first started at Leone, McDonnel & Roberts as an intern in the summer 2017. Her talent and work ethic impressed us so much we offered her a job before she left to complete her senior year of college. She graduated in 2018 from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting, and promptly joined our team full time as an Accountant.
During her time with the firm, Christine has focused primarily on audit and tax services, but has also contributed to our review and compilation capabilities. She loves spending her time helping clients and developing strong professional partnerships. She also enjoys continually gaining industry knowledge and accounting expertise—and it shows! In 2020, Christine earned her certified public accountant designation and in July 2023, she was promoted to Supervisor. Christine assists with the firm’s hiring and recruitment initiatives as well as the LMR mentor program.
Outside of the office, Christine enjoys going to the beach, boating and spending time with her family.

Christine Chrysafidis

Colby Combs
Colby Combs is a Staff Accountant in LMR’s Dover office, where he focuses primarily on tax preparation for individuals, businesses, and nonprofits. His work includes preparing 1040s, 1120s, 990s, and 1065s, giving him exposure to a wide range of client needs. What Colby enjoys most about accounting is the variety. He values the challenge of a field that is both broad and complex, one that pushes him to keep learning and improving.
Colby earned both his bachelor’s degree (2023) and MBA (2024) from Thomas College, achieving high honors every semester. A tax internship during his junior year confirmed his interest in the profession, leading him to pursue public accounting as a career after graduation.
Originally from Waldoboro, Maine, Colby now resides in Dover, NH. He is a member of both the AICPA and NHSCPA and is working toward his CPA license – a milestone he plans to celebrate with his first international trip, likely to Italy or Japan. When he’s not at the office, Colby enjoys watching soccer and football, staying active at the gym, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and picking up hobbies like reading and golf.

Cathleen Clough
Cathleen Clough is the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts Firm Administrator. Cathleen joined the team in 2006. Prior to her time with us, Cathleen worked in the banking industry in various capacities, and she also gained valuable administrative experience at a medical office.
In her role as Firm Administrator, Cathleen assumes responsibility for a wide range of tasks and functions. Cathleen handles several HR roles, including benefits administration and onboarding for the firm. She also handles purchasing, office administration and helps with billing.
A lifelong New Hampshire resident, Cathleen lives in Sanbornville with her husband. Together, they have three adult children. When she’s not in the office running with multiple projects simultaneously, Cathleen enjoys creating craft cards, gardening or spending time with family and friends at the ocean.

Cindy Carver
Cindy Carver is a Leone, McDonnell & Roberts Billing & Collections Specialist. She has an extensive professional background that includes 16+ years as a social security, worker’s compensation, and personal injury paralegal before joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. Prior to that Cindy worked as an administrative assistant and billing and collections specialist for an accident reconstruction company and law firm.
In her role at LMR, Cindy leads our billing team and manages our company collections. She also provides assistance to our Marketing Director with initiatives and assists with company onboarding. Cindy is extremely organized, action-oriented, efficient and excellent at multi-tasking, all professional traits that make her an invaluable asset to the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team. Most importantly, Cindy isn’t just great at her job (which, trust us, she is) — but she enjoys it as well! Every day Cindy arrives at the office excited to work with colleagues who range in age from young college interns through retirement age and tackle whatever the day brings.
When not helping the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts crew stay organized and get paid, Cindy enjoys spending time with family and friends including her children, granddaughters, siblings, nieces, and nephews. She loves dancing, hiking, floating in her pool, Geocaching, and playing cribbage. She also prioritizes giving back to the community, serving on an American Cancer Society Relay For Life team. Cindy has a few items on her bucket list she’s looking forward to crossing off, including a solo trip to Ireland, zip lining, and taking a balloon ride.

Courtney Karmeris
Courtney Karmeris brings over 25 years of administrative and bookkeeping experience to her role at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for managing accounts, Courtney has worked across various industries, providing payables support for over a decade as a trusted temp for local businesses. Today, she supports the firm’s front office operations, serving as a reliable presence at reception and a valuable administrative assistant to the team.
Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Hesser College and an Associate degree in Small Business Management from McIntosh College, where she was a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She’s also a New Hampshire Notary Public, certified through 2028.
Beyond the office, Courtney is a dedicated mother of two (plus a parrot, a dog, and a couple of cats) and serves her community by delivering meals weekly to seniors through the Third Baptist Church in Strafford. A confident public speaker and natural caregiver, her happy place is anywhere she can be surrounded by nature – or animals.
