Angela joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association team in 2008 and currently serves as Manager in our North Conway office where she specializes in a variety of tax and audit services. Her areas of expertise include audit, reviews, and compilation services within the nonprofit sector as well as tax preparation and planning for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations in a wide range of industries. In her role as Manager, Angela gets to do what she does best: use her accounting and business skills to help individuals and organizations financially succeed.

Beyond her professional support of Leone, McDonnell & Roberts’ clients, Angela also lends her invaluable insight to colleagues and local organizations as a teacher and trainer. She has partnered with the Mount Washington Valley Economic Council’s Nonprofit Bootcamp where she’s taught courses on several industry-relevant topics including

• Internal controls
• Risk assessment
• Reading financial statements
• Board responsibilities for nonprofit organizations

Angela’s problem solving and math skills prompted her to pursue a BS in Accountancy from Case Western Reserve University where she graduated cum laude. In 1992, she launched her professional accounting career at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) where she gained invaluable experience partnering with clients that specialized in financial services. Coopers & Lybrand is also where Angela first developed her affinity for teaching and training.

Over the last 25+ years, Angela has gained the experience, skills, and competencies needed to serve and support clients with a diverse range of accounting issues. Her unwavering professionalism, follow-through, and organizational capabilities are just some of the many key differentiators that have contributed to Angela’s success at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Angela spending time with her husband, Robert, and two sons at their Center Conway home, where she stays active by gardening, hiking, skiing, and reading. For Angela, the combination of working at an accounting firm with such a strong commitment to quality while living in a beautiful, small mountain town is the ultimate professional/personal life balance.

A licensed New Hampshire CPA, Abby Lamothe joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts in 2018. She first started with the firm as an intern in the summer of 2014, while she was completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire. Abby is a Supervisor in our Dover office.

Abby received her Master of Science in Accounting in 2015 and entered the workforce, gaining significant professional auditing experience as a healthcare and nonprofit auditor traveling throughout the northeast. And now—she’s back with us, where she not only gets to use her auditing skills on an almost daily basis, but she also spends her time helping new staff, organizing and planning jobs, and working directly with some of our many nonprofit organizations. In Abby’s own words, she comes to work every day excited to “help individuals and organizations navigate their financial data with confidence.”

Abby is a member of both the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She enjoys getting involved in the local community serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce, as the Treasurer for Seacoast Eat Local and volunteering at the Pope Memorial Humane Society. She is also the founder of Seacoast Sweet Stitches, a group for fiber enthusiasts that focuses on knitting, crochet, embroidery, sewing, and more.

Abby also enjoys exercising and getting outside whenever possible and has been known to combine two of her passions by knitting while running 5Ks!

Amanda Reimers

Amanda started at the firm in 2022. In her role as Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, she gets to do what she does best—work with others and contribute to the team in multiple capacities. She also enjoys her receptionist duties, where she gets to be the first person visitors get to see at our Dover office.

Amanda graduated from Lesley University, earning a BS in Counseling/Psychology in 2018. Before joining Leone, McDonnell and Roberts, she worked in community mental health care as a residential counselor for two years, then as a case manager for the following two years.

A lifelong NH resident, Amanda currently lives in Dover with her beloved cats and dog. She also loves singing, songwriting, and playing musical instruments. In her spare time, she volunteers with Arts In Reach, practices and instructs students of all ages in Okinawan Karate training, and donates her time to help raise mental health awareness for individuals with low socioeconomic status.
