Ryan Crowley serves as a Senior Accountant at Leone, McDonnell and Roberts, bringing a distinctive blend of experience and expertise to the firm.

Originally from Peabody, MA, Ryan currently lives in Londonderry, NH. Ryan earned his degree in Accounting and Business from Saint Anselm College in 2020. During his time at school, Ryan landed internships with four different firms and organizations. His persistence as an undergrad paid off — he got his first job in the accounting world right after graduation.

In his role as Senior Accountant at LMRPA, Ryan specializes in tax returns for both individuals and businesses. He enjoys handling the intricate financial workings of his clients, providing valuable insights, and putting the finishing touches on their year-end financials.

When he’s not navigating spreadsheets, Ryan spends his summers and falls working at Mack’s Apples, a local farm stand in Londonderry, NH, where he serves ice cream. He also spends his time away from the office around Lake Winnipesaukee, and has put traveling to new states and countries at the very top of his bucket list

Sydney Carlisle joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team in 2021, and is a Senior Accountant working out of the North Conway, New Hampshire office. A 2021 honors and magna cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Sydney received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with options in Accounting & Entrepreneurship. During her sophomore year at UNH, she participated in the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, helping file tax returns for low-income individuals.

Before starting at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Sydney worked as an administrative intern at William & Henry Wide Plank Floors. In January 2021, she joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts for busy season, helping with individual tax returns. Starting full-time in July 2021, Sydney continues to learn and grow, working on audits and tax preparation and extensions.

Sydney’s favorite thing about accounting is the dynamic environment that promotes continuous learning. She also loves working with clients on various engagements and collaborating with other team members at the firm. In addition to helping out with client needs, she still finds the time to study for the rigorous CPA exam which is her next professional goal.

Sydney resides in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. When not at work, she can often be found at the beach in Truro, MA or skiing, walking and hiking throughout New England. She also enjoys spending time with friends, family, and loved ones.

Matthew Creamer is a Senior Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. Matthew recently received a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire  in May of 2022 and is currently working on earning his CPA certification, making him an excellent fit for the Staff Accountant role. He loves being out in the field, getting to know and helping our clients across multiple industries. Matthew views his role like a giant puzzle—he enjoys sifting through and connecting all the pieces of the engagement as it progresses.

Matthew was born and raised in Stratham, NH. Before joining our firm, he gained valuable accounting experience from internships and full-time work a local accounting firm, specializing in assurance and audit services for nonprofits and employee benefit plans.

When not helping clients solve problems, Matthew spends time at home in Epping, with his family or in his happy place—the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. His secret talent is playing the guitar, and he dreams of someday snowboarding in Europe, in countries like Sweden and Finland.

Zane Angelopoulos, a lifelong New Hampshire native, joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team in 2022. Zane earned his both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting from New England College (NEC). He excelled at NEC, earning the NEC Male Scholar Athlete Award, NEC Management Division Award, and graduated with a 4.0 GPA

Before joining our firm, Zane was a tax intern at a Manchester firm. In his current role as an LMR Staff Accountant, Zane focuses on tax and audit work. As a Senior Accountant, he enjoys working with a wide range of clients at the firm, putting his education and background to work for them as they navigate the tax and audit process.

When not helping clients at LMR, Zane enjoys spending time with his large Greek family in the Rollinsford, Dover, and Somersworth area. In his downtime, he enjoys golf, skiing, fishing, tennis, working out, and hockey—when he was a kid, he had dreams of playing in the NHL! His top three bucket list items include skiing deep powder in Japan or the Jackson Hole backcountry and visiting Greece.

At Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, we are huge advocates of hiring interns from our local New Hampshire colleges. It’s a great way to support students as they grow into their careers and helps us connect with the best and brightest in the area. Case in point: Hannah Cloutier, is a true success story of our intern program here at the firm!

Hannah was born and raised in Stratham, NH. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2022 with a BS in Accounting and Finance. While at UNH, she also earned the distinction of making the dean’s list every semester. Hanna was attracted to accounting by the job’s fast-pace, constantly moving parts, and the chance to work with numbers. She enjoys helping on various projects and learning under our experienced team of accountants. A Senior Accountant at the firm, Hannah earned her CPA license, passing all four sections of the rigorous CPA examination in early 2024.

Prior to joining LMR, Hannah has mainly been involved with customer service roles, working as a server at a local golf course and at the customer service desk at a supermarket. When not at work, Hannah enjoys sharpening her self-taught juggling skills and spending time with her family and two dogs. She also has hiking all of the 4,000-footers in NH at the top of her bucket list.

Griffin is another Leone, McDonnell & Roberts intern success story. He joined the firm in 2022 as Staff Accountant in our North Conway office. He started with the firm right after graduating from Endicott College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. In his current role at the firm, Griffin works with many local companies and nonprofits in the area. He loves using his degree to help make an impact with our clients.

Before becoming a member of the LMR team, Griffin worked at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort for two years and interned at a payroll / HR company. When not at the office, he loves spending time with family and friends in his happy place – his own backyard. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, and traveling, and has a trip back to Europe at the top of his bucket list.

Kerri Hanson joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team in 2022 as a Staff Accountant. She graduated from Saint Anselm College (BA) in 2020 and Merrimack College (MSA- concentration in Taxation and Forensics) in 2022. While many people come to the accounting field in college, Kerri has known what she wanted to do when she grew up since she was a kid. In the 6th grade, her class took a field trip to Exchange City, where she spent the day as an accountant and knew working in accounting was her dream. So, essentially, working at LMPRA isn’t just a job for Kerri — it’s a dream come true!

In her role as Staff Accountant, Kerri gets to do what she loves — problem-solving for clients and serving in a field known for integrity and ethics. She approaches client projects like a real-time puzzle where she finds creative ways for clients to resolve their problems and achieve the best results for their needs.

Before joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Kerri worked as a Senior Accountant at a local bank in NH for two years. In her downtime, she volunteers at For Goodness Cakes, an organization that matches volunteers to make and hand-deliver birthday and graduation cakes to children in foster care and youth overcoming adversity on their special day. Kerri loves to travel in her free time, visiting 22 countries total in her life, and eight European countries this past summer alone. In the future, she hopes to see all seven world wonders and skydive in a different country.

Katie DuBois is a Staff Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts. With a strong academic background and a passion for problem solving, she brings a unique blend of skills and experience to our team of financial professionals.

A lifelong Moultonborough, New Hampshire resident, Katie attended the University of New Hampshire, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with options in both accounting and information systems and business analytics. Katie holds AICPA and NHSCPA memberships, loves trying new things, and thrives on challenges — all traits that make her an excellent addition to the LMR team where she focuses on tax and audit services.

Prior to joining the team, Katie honed her people skills working as an office manager, in several restaurants, and as an intern at our firm! When not in the office, Katie loves skiing, hiking, and being lakeside with friends and family. She also enjoys traveling and dreams of someday going on an African safari.

Margarita Gaponov joined the LMR team in 2023 as a Staff Accountant. Margarita was born and raised in New Hampshire, but she is very connected to her Slavic heritage. Her grandparents are originally from Kiev, Ukraine and Margarita grew up learning their language, culture, and traditions.

Margarita graduated from New England College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. In her role at the LMRPA firm, Margarita focuses primarily on preparing taxes and audit work. She has her AICPA and NHSCPA certifications and comes to work every day excited to crunch numbers and help clients optimize every tax benefit they are entitled to receive!

At Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, we appreciate Margarita’s commendable math skills, but it’s important to note that Margarita also loves music! While in college, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in music and performed at Carnegie Hall in a piano competition where she won 2nd place.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Margarita spends time volunteering at the Slavic Baptist Church in Londonderry, dreaming about a someday trip to Europe or in her happy place: eating ice cream by a lake during sunset.

Shannon is a Staff Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, bringing extensive experience in auditing, forensic accounting, and private investigation. Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Plymouth State University, where she was recognized with the Criminal Justice Book Scholarship award. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in forensic accounting at Southern New Hampshire University.

Shannon prepares financial statements and single audits in her current role at the firm. She especially enjoys getting to know each client’s unique operations and learning about new industries with every engagement. Her prior experience in investigation allows her to bring a critical eye and attention to detail when auditing.

Outside of work, Shannon is actively involved with her alma mater, Plymouth State, serving as vice president of the class of 2018 and formerly holding leadership roles in the Kappa Delta Phi NAS sorority. She is also deeply passionate about supporting the American Diabetes Association in honor of her cousin Emily, who passed away from the disease in 2020.

Shannon enjoys an active lifestyle in her free time, including skiing, mountain biking, riding jet skis, playing soccer and softball, and traveling. Her happy place is spending time with her family, boyfriend Matt, and their three dogs, Tuukka, Jake, and Diesel, at their camp on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Elisa Careggio is a Staff Accountant at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts’ North Conway office. Raised in Torino, Italy, Elisa now resides in North Conway, New Hampshire, with her parents and her beloved dog, Luna. She recently graduated from Granite State College (GSC) with a degree in Accounting.

Elisa has always had a love for mathematics, starting in childhood when she dreamed of becoming a math teacher. Before joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Elisa gained valuable experience managing a coffee shop, where she handled payroll, inventory management, and ordering supplies. Her diverse background has equipped her with a strong foundation in various operational aspects of business management.

At Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Elisa is passionate about helping clients with their taxes and overall business profitability. She appreciates the welcoming atmosphere at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts and values the support and mentorship from her colleagues. A member of the AICPA, Elisa is eager to explore all areas of accounting to find her niche within the field.

Elisa enjoys giving back to the community and has a history of volunteer work, starting during her high school years.

Sharon joined the Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team in 2022 as an Accounting Client Specialist. Sharon has extensive experience in accounting. She has a BS in Accounting from the University of New Haven, Connecticut, and she has more than 10 years of experience as an AVP/Accountant in the banking industry. Then, while raising her children, she managed the books for her family business. Sharon has also passed the CPA exam. In her current role at our firm, she works with a wide range of LMR clients, helping them with QuickBooks, both the online and desktop versions.

Sharon grew up in Connecticut and currently resides in Tuftonboro with her husband Steve and two children. When not hard at work helping LMR clients, Sharon loves spending time in nature with her dogs, boating, snowmobiling. She also loves cooking, yoga, and volunteering with the elderly.
