Interns Begin their Summer Journeys with LMR
Students began the arduous task of exploring summer internship opportunities last fall, sifting through dozens of companies to find the right fit.
We are pleased to announce the following students found their summer home with our firm. Matthew Ponce and Peter Dukas will assist in our Dover office and Daniel Krivitsky will intern in our Wolfeboro office.
Peter Dukas
Peter hails from Georgia, Vermont and is currently living in Durham, New Hampshire. He recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire and will continue at the University to obtain his Masters in Accounting in 2020. In his free time, Peter enjoys hunting, fishing, waterskiing and anything outdoors.
He is excited to gain real-life work experience and be an active participant in client fieldwork.
Matthew Ponce
Matthew is from Newmarket, New Hampshire. He received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of New Hampshire and is currently enrolled at Salem State University in pursuit of his Master of Science in Accounting. He expects to graduate in the winter of 2019. During his time at UNH, he was the primary contact for the Accounting Student Association and was the Business Manager for Hillel, a student run organization on campus. He brings experience in auditing 401(k) plans from an internship he took part in last summer. A baseball player in high school, Peter still plays ball in his free time and enjoys watching the Red Sox (win) as much as possible.
Matthew hopes to gain a broader understanding of auditing as well as delve into the tax side of accounting during his time with the firm.
Daniel Krivitsky
From Alton, New Hampshire, Daniel will enter his senior year at the University of New Hampshire. He is expected to graduate in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. At UNH, he is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. Daniel comes to the firm with some busy-season tax experience he gained at an internship earlier this year.
This summer, Daniel looks forward to learning and experiencing what it’s like to work in a public accounting firm.
“We are very excited to have Peter, Matthew and Daniel join Leone, McDonnell & Roberts this summer and look forward to sharing in their journey of gaining real world experience,” said Partner Evan Stowell. “We feel that each will be a remarkable fit with our firm culture and prove to be a good complement to our staff. Coupled with their educational achievements, their experience with LMR will provide a solid foundation of knowledge and experience as they start their careers in public accounting.”
